Manchester United are "very interested" in signing Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, according to the player.
Contract talks between Huntelaar and Ajax recently stalled, sparking fresh speculation that the 24-year-old could be on his way out of the Amsterdam Arena this summer.
And number of Europe's top clubs - including United, Arsenal and Real Madrid - have been linked with a move for the forward following his impressive showings in the Eredivisie and Euro 2008.
And while Ajax have stated they are hopeful he will reconsider his decision to turn down their latest contract offering, Huntelaar has claimed the Red Devils are closely keeping an eye on proceedings.
"I love clubs with great history like Ajax, I also love United," Huntelaar told Dutch reporters. "It's a club that makes me dream, especially as Ruud van Nistelrooy played there and did great things with them.
"I know certain English clubs are following me, like Manchester United, who are very interested in me."
